High-risk payment processing with Authvia –
If you are the owner of a high-risk online business and are looking for a modern, efficient system for accepting payments online for your products, the combination of Authvia and a high-risk-friendly payment gateway like Authorize.Net or NMI may be just what you need.
With Authvia and a high-risk payment gateway that is properly set up for your regulated products, you can begin accepting payments more quickly and reliably than ever before.
At Tasker Payment Gateways LLC, we’ve spent twenty years helping high-risk businesses like yours accept credit cards online for their products. We can also help with integrations so you can continue to use popular e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, and others. High-risk Authvia merchant accounts: Authorize.Net and NMI
We have found Authorize.Net and NMI to be great payment gateways for many high-risk online businesses, and both can be used with Authvia. But if your Authorize.Net or NMI account is not set up correctly, it can be just as much of a risk for you as a regular, big-name payment gateway like PayPal or Stripe, which prohibit regulated products and can leave high-risk sites prone to shutdowns or even frozen funds.
When your payment gateway is set up correctly the first time, with a high-risk-friendly merchant account that’s designed for your business’s specific products, your business will be in a much better position to succeed. Visit our Authorize.Net page and our NMI page to learn more about selling regulated items with these payment gateways.
Even if your business has been rejected by Authorize.Net or NMI in the past, it can be worthwhile to try it again. It’s possible that your business was only rejected by one of the merchant processors rather than the gateway itself. If that’s the case, we can get you set up with a high-risk merchant account that’s right for your business.
Authorize.Net or NMI can also be integrated with many popular shopping carts, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, and others. That way, you don’t have to start over on a different platform to accept payments for your high-risk products online.
What is Authvia?
Authvia is the developer of an exciting, newly patented technology known as TXT2PAY. This contact-free payment solution is designed to allow consumers to pay for products and services via text message. It has the advantage of being quick for businesses, allowing both individual and bulk payment requests.
TXT2PAY can work on any mobile device or computer, and it’s especially convenient for customers because it uses the basic SMS technology they already understand. Customers can approve payments using a four-digit code rather than having to constantly navigate between different apps with different passwords. This can lead to faster payments for products and services, cutting out a lot of the inefficiency that exists in payment technology.

Authvia and high-risk payment gateways
Authorize.Net and NMI are both partner payment companies of Authvia, and therefore either one can be integrated with Authvia as part of your high-risk payment solution. Of course, either one would still have to be paired with a high-risk merchant account to be truly high-risk friendly, which we at Tasker Payment Gateways can help you set up.
Our dedicated agents have experience with many different high-risk industries and e-commerce platforms and will take the time to learn about your business’s unique needs. Contact us any time with questions about how we can help you accept payments for your high-risk products.
Which high-risk businesses can use Authvia?
Authvia does not currently have a list of prohibited products or business types. While any business is ultimately subject to their review, Authorize.Net or NMI can be used for many high-risk businesses if the merchant account is set up correctly, which can then be paired with Authvia. As long as the payment processing is properly set up, we know of no prohibition against high-risk products such as:
However, Authvia uses a provider called Twilio to send out their actual SMS messages, and Twilio’s policies prohibit messaging about the “marketing or sale of a cannabis product” because cannabis products are still not legal in all US states, as explained in their Messaging Policy page. So, for now, as far as we can see, CBD products cannot be sold using Authvia, nor can vape products.
Additionally, firearms are prohibited by Twillio. The link below expands on their prohibited activities.
